Canadian Business College Aims for Back-to-Back Paralegal Cup Wins

Posted on October 21st, 2014 - Written by: Vanessa Hamkens

Canadian Business Paralegal CupWith the 2nd annual Paralegal Cup just around the corner, Canadian Business College is extremely excited to defend the title it won at last year’s inaugural competition. Hosted by the Ontario Paralegal Association (formerly the Paralegal Society of Ontario), the 2014 Paralegal Cup promises to be even more exciting as participating colleges have a more acute understanding of the competition and competitors, having all gone through the proverbial wringer last year.

This year’s competition will be held on November 1-2, 2014, and just like last year, will take place at Humber College – Lakeshore Campus.

A dark horse in 2013, CBC’s 2014 Paralegal Cup entries know the competition will come out swinging hard and fast. Coached once again by Faculty of Law Director, Jeffrey Nicholson, the resolve and determination to retain the cup, not to mention intercollegiate bragging rights, has the CBC team extremely motivated. This motivation was recently on display at the college’s own internal moot court competition, where current paralegal program students duked it out for the opportunity to represent the college at the upcoming Paralegal Cup.

For a quick recap of last year’s win, check out the following articles:
