hero-police-foundations Ever thought about becoming a Correctional Officer?

It’s a great career path that’s worth investigating, click here:  employer-presentaion-flyer-corrections

We are hosting representatives from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services at our Toronto and Mississauga campuses on Wednesday, November 23rd

All graduates and current students are welcome to join us then for an exclusive opportunity for Canadian Business College students to learn more about becoming a Correctional Officer.

Do you consider yourself an intelligent person?  Do you think you’re of strong moral character?  Are you ethical and trustworthy?  Do you consider yourself law-abiding and do you believe in the strong principles of our Canadian laws?  If so – being a correctional officer may be the right career path for you.

There is a variety of positions available to you working as a correctional officer.  These positions range from Community Corrections, working in Jails and Detention centers to working in Prisons and Institutions.  These positions all provide the opportunity for Correctional Officers to embrace meaningful and necessary work that betters local communities.

In provincial institutions alone, you could be earning anywhere from $24.02 to $31.79 an hour working as a correctional officer.

So why should you consider becoming a correctional officer?  Would you consider becoming a correctional officer for the above average rate of pay?  Would you consider becoming a correctional officer because – according to Service Canada – the majority of employers grant full pensions plans in less than 35 years?  Or would you consider becoming a correctional officer because of your strong moral character and your drive to do good for Canadian communities?  Regardless of what motivates you – Canadian Business College wants to help you realize your ability to become a correctional officer.

If you have any questions please refer to the handout regarding how to contact us, who to direct your questions to and how to secure your spot on November 23rd!

If you are not currently enrolled at Canadian Business College, please contact us vial email or phone to learn more about this and other opportunities that we provide to our students – and how to get involved.  Contact information is listed below.

We look forward to seeing you at our Toronto or Mississauga campuses on November 23rd!
